Materials and Mechanisms
Let’s start with the materials, which are definitely top of the range.
The solid but extremely light structure guarantees this City Mini the possibility of having an excellent quality chassis, without compromising handling and weight.
The whole structure is covered in high-quality fabric, easy to clean, and not breathable.
I also appreciated the large hood with a transparent window, very useful to see what the baby on board is doing!
The overall elegance of the stroller may not touch somestrollers of other brands, but they are design is elegant and functional. The wheels are made of semi-rigid plastic filled with foam. This guarantees good grip, and excellent cushioning, and excludes the problem of being able to “puncture” during a walk. In our test of about 30 days, they did not deform in the least.
It should also be noted that this stroller has the possibility of transforming itself into an approved car cot. An adapter is needed to lock the “cradle” to the vehicle seat, but it is an additional option that we have used and appreciated many times.
All in all, the materials used convinced us from every point of view.
Ergonomics on Board
As a consequence of the excellent materials, the seat and internal comfort are at the highest levels for the category.
Finishes, padding, and cushioning make the seat comfortable and able to make any trip pleasant and relaxing. The seams and connections between the fabric, padding, and frame are well-made and harmonious.
Unlike other strollers in this range, the City Mini does not have an adjustable leg rest but is adequately padded for maximum comfort.
It has a large footrest covered with durable material for better wear over time. The backrest reclines quite easily with one hand and has different inclinations ranging from the horizontal deckchair to the seat. The back works with two side straps that meet in the center with a plastic pull that maintains tension and keeps the back in a vertical position.
Handling
Already only the 3 wheels facilitate the management of the stroller but are further aided by an excellent quality structure and a series of features created to facilitate its use.
We especially liked the possibility of blocking the front wheel (making it rotate only forward and not 360 °, by choice) as well as the positioning of the block brakes, comfortable within walking distance.
The diameter of the tires (20 cm), the materials of which they are composed (semi-rigid rubber + internal foam), and the cushioning of the rear wheels make this stroller really comfortable to carry on any terrain.
We appreciated it both on asphalt, on sand and gravel, and on smooth interiors. He never gave us any problems.
The Wheels
The front wheels, in addition to being swiveling, have a suspension allowing better comfort and more precise handling. They can however be locked for long-distance walks.
Folds and Unfolds
Easy and quick folding system thanks to the “Quick fold” technology, patented by Baby Jogging, also equipped with safety straps, which allows the stroller to be opened and closed in an ultra-fast and safe way and can be done with just one hand. The transport, once closed, is facilitated by a comfortable carrying handle.
Car Seat Attachment
Versatile, as with the special adapter for attachment to the frame it can easily be transformed into a modular travel system on which to easily attach the car seat or carrycot in the Deluxe and Compact models of the same manufacturer.

The Baby Jogger City Mini is a lightstroller with 3 wheels is a stroller that has been successfully following the daily walks, shopping moments, and travels of the whole family for several years, as it is versatile, very light, and equipped with features that make it a good product with long use.
It is also a versatile stroller, as, thanks to a special adapter, it can also be easily used as a pram and the car seat can also be attached to the frame, thus transforming itself into a modular travel system.
Equipped with the quick and easy folding system “Quick fold” patented by Baby Jogger, it is a stroller designed for the city, but which does not find it difficult to move easily even on the most uneven roads and terrains, being equipped with a sturdy frame and large wheels with suspensions.
A stroller is certainly not cheap and indeed high-end in price, but it offers many comforts and which guarantees, in addition to excellent technical characteristics, comfort for the little one at all times thanks to the reclining backrest, safety, versatility, durability, and good design.
